Skole

a city and administrative center of Skole Raion, L’vov Oblast, Ukrainian SSR; located in the valley of the Opor River of the Dnestr River basin. Skole has a railroad station on the Stryi-Mukachevo line. There is logging near the city. Skole has a branch of the Stryi Furniture Firm and enterprises for quarrying stone for use in the construction. The city is a tourist site.
