Radiant heatThe heat transmitted to a body by electromagnetic waves, as distinct from heat transferred by thermal conduction or convection. In green building, radiant heat is generally defined as heat radiating from a floor or wall and being transferred from a hot source within the wall or floor, usually circulated water.
