Location:3 miles west of Silver City on M-107.
Facilities:100 modern campsites, 70 rustic campsites, a rental lodge, 19 rusticcabins, organization campground, picnic area and shelter, trails (100+miles), beach house, canoe/kayak rentals (seasonal), 2 boat launches,concession/store, visitor center (open mid-May to mid-October), ski lodge, ski rentals.

Special Features:Located 15 miles west of Ontonagon in the Upper Peninsula, Michigan'slargest state park (and only state-designated wilderness) is one of thefew remaining large wilderness areas in the Midwest. Set on the shoresof Lake Superior, the park includes old-growth forest and varied scenicvistas. Areas of attraction within the "Porkies" include the Lake ofthe Clouds viewing area, Summit Peak observation tower, and the scenicPresque Isle River corridor, which has the state's second largestwaterfall. The park also contains the Porcupine Mountains Ski Area, amajor Michigan winter sports area.
