V0073300 (fər-vo͞ort′), Hendrik Frensch 1901-1966. Dutch-born South African politician who as prime minister (1958-1966) pursued a policy of apartheid and removed South Africa from the British Commonwealth (1961). He was assassinated in Cape Town.
