Facilities:88 tent/trailer/RV campsites, 3 pioneer campgrounds, 5 picnic shelters,group shelter, trails, swimming pool, playground, nature trails, observation towers,visitor center.
Activities:Camping, swimming, hiking, bicycling, birding, interpretive programs.
Special Features:This barrier island park includes both salt and freshwater habitats dueto estuaries and marshes that flow through the area. The park bordersSkidaway Narrows, part of the Intracoastal Waterway. Two nature trailswind through marshes, live oaks, cabbage-palmettos, and longleaf pines,offering visitors the opportunity to look for deer, raccoon, shorebirds, and rare migrating birds such as the painted bunting. The park'svisitor/interpretive center has a birding station, nature exhibits, anda gift shop.
