rabbit syndrome

(rab'it sin'drōm), A rare neuroleptic-induced form of parkinsonism usually manifested as 4-6 Hz, rhythmic discharges involving the jaw, perinasal, and perioral musculature; so-named because the movements mimic those seen with the chewing movements of a rabbit.
