释义 | Pack, RobertPack, Robert(1929– ) poet; born in New York City. He studied at Dartmouth (B.A. 1951) and Columbia University (M.A. 1953). He taught at Barnard (1957–64) and Middlebury College (Vermont) (1964). Associated with the Bread Loaf Writers Conference, Middlebury, Vt. (1973–93), he won many awards for his poetry. Some critics consider him the heir to the sensibilities of Robert Frost, as seen in Waking to My Name: New and Selected Poems (1980). |
