A foreign correspondent in Vienna and Berlin during the 1920s, she later wrote a syndicated column (1936–57) and espoused vehemently anti-Nazi views prior to World War II. Her books include New Russia (1928) and Let the Record Speak (1939). She was married to Sinclair Lewis from 1928 to 1942. |
