Százhalombatta

a city in Hungary, in Pest Megye (county), on the right bank of the Danube River. Population, 14,000 (1976). The city is the terminus of the Hungarian section of the Druzhba international oil pipeline. It has an oil-refining combine and an 840-megawatt thermoelectric power plant, which runs on mazut.
