Spirovo

an urban-type settlement and administrative center of Spirovo Raion, Kalinin Oblast, RSFSR. Railroad station 86 km northwest of Kalinin, on the Moscow-Bologoe line. Spirivo has a glassworks, a flax-processing plant, a milk plant, and a logging and timber distribution establishment.
