Location:Ozark NF is in northwestern and north-central Arkansas. Accessible by US 71; AR 7, 21, 22, and 23. Nearby cities/towns include Clarksville, Fort Smith, Harrison, Ozark, and Russellville. Saint Francis NF is in east-central Arkansas. Accessible by US 49; AR 44 and 242. Nearby cities/towns include Marianna and La Grange.
Facilities:Visitor centers, 23 campgrounds, 9 cabins, 2 lodges, picnic sites, boat launches, hiking trails (395 miles), multi-use trails (130 miles), scenic drives.

Special Features:Forest houses Blanchard Springs Caverns, which were described as "the cave find of the century" when the large, upper level was discovered in 1963. Guided tours of the developed caverns are regularly scheduled; tours of wild caves are available by reservation.
