USP48 USP48 A gene on chromosome 1p36.12 that encodes a member of the peptidase C19 family which processes poly-ubiquitinated precursors and ubiquitinated proteins. USP48 may be involved in regulating NF-kappaB activation by the TNF receptor superfamily through interactions with RELA and TRAF2, and it may play a regulatory role at post-synaptic sites. |
