Thiosalt

(or sulfosalt), a salt of a thio acid. Thiosalts resemble the salts of oxy acids but differ in the substitution of sulfur atoms for oxygen atoms. Unlike unstable thio acids, thiosalts are stable and have found practical application (see, for example, SODIUMTHIOSULFATE).
