Sirajganj

a city in Bangladesh, situated on the right bank of the Jamuna River. Population, 47,100 (1961). Sirajganj is a transportation junction and river port. The city has a railroad station and a ferry crossing that connects the railroads of the western and eastern parts of Bangladesh. A commercial center, Sirajganj has a jute industry.
