lead polyneuropathy Damage to peripheral nerves, especially those supplying the hands and feet, occurring in long-term (chronic) lead poisoning. There is muscle weakness, pain, pins-and needle sensation (paraesthesia) and numbness in the glove-and-stocking areas. |
