Special Features:The ghost town of Bannack was the site of Montana's first major golddiscovery in 1862. The main street is lined with more than 50 historiclog and frame structures that recall Montana's formative years. Bannackis the best preserved of the Montana ghost towns being preserved ratherthan restored and is a registered National Historic Landmark.
