Question

Country: United States of America
State: New JerseyAn oil company delivered oil to my home by mistake. This is not my oil company. I came home and found their notice in my mailbox with the name of my next door neighbor, neighbor's address, and gallons of oil delivered. I called the company and told them their mistake. They want me to pay for the oil that they mistakenly delivered to me. Do I have to pay for this oil?

Answer

They either have to take it back or if you want to keep it you have to payfor at least part of it...you legally cannot just keep it because of a mistake...
