Location:8 miles east of Granite Falls off I-5.

Activities:Fishing, hiking, mountain climbing, snowshoeing, bird watching, rock climbing.
Special Features:A 3-mile trail leads to an old fire lookout at the summit of Mount Pilchuck (5,324 feet). The trail begins at 3,100 feet above sea level and winds through old growth forest to alpine heather and large rocks. At the top is a panoramic view of the Cascades, Olympics, and Puget Sound.
