Latent Dream
Latent Dream (or Latent Dream Content)
(dreams)Latent dream is Sigmund Freud‘s expression for the real meaning of a dream, distinct from its surface structure and content. The contrasting term is manifest dream, which refers to the dream as it is dreamed, remembered, and reported, prior to any analysis. The psychoanalytical view is that the true significance of the dream is disguised so that our sleep is not interrupted by disturbing dreams.
