释义 | mutual inductionmutual inductionmutual induction
Mutual Inductionmutual induction[′myü·chə·wəl in′dək·shən]Mutual Inductiona phenomenon in which magnetic coupling of two or more electric circuits is observed. Because of the coupling, an induced electromotive force is generated in one of the circuits if the current in the other circuit changes. Mutual inductance is a quantitative measure of magnetic coupling between circuits. The operation of transformers is based on mutual induction. REFERENCEKalashnikov, S.G. Elektrichestvo. Moscow, 1970.
