[mag′ned·ik ¦mem·rē ‚plāt] (electronics) Magnetic memory consisting of a ferrite plate having a grid of small holes through which the read-in and read-out wires are threaded; printed wiring may be applied directly to the plate in place of conventionally threaded wires, permitting mass production of plates having a high storage capacity.
