Anjou Festival Anjou FestivalJulyEvery summer the Festival d'Anjou, a celebration of the performing and visual arts held in Angers, France, gives young artists an opportunity to work with and learn from professionals in their fields through the educational workshops offered during the festival. Some of the world's best-known dance and theatrical groups have come to perform at the festival since its founding in 1975. Most of these performances are held either outdoors or inside abbeys, castles, and churches.
