Activities:Boating, canoeing, fishing, hunting, birdwatching.
Special Features:Area includes 15 wildlife management areas and 13 public access sites,scattered along 75 miles of two major rivers, the Mississippi and theIllinois. Most of the area is actively managed for wetland habitatenhancement and public recreation. The primary species of concern iswaterfowl.
