A charity founded in 1911 by Douglas Macmillan, which is the largest cancer care and support charity in the UK, providing medical, financial, emotional and practical help for people with cancer. Macmillan’s budget comes from legacies, corporate donations and fundraising activities and goes towards healthcare, dissemination of information, financial and emotional support and services and campaigning.
