Location:22 miles northeast of Crockett in the northeastern part of the state.
Facilities:Campsites with full hookups, campsites with water and electricity hookups, tent camping, showers, restrooms, group camp, day-use group facility, picnic areas, hiking trails, historic structures, park store, amphitheater, playground.
Activities:Camping, fishing, hiking.
Special Features:Park was built as a commemorative representation of Mission San Francisco de los Tejas, the first Spanish mission in the province of Texas. In the park also is the Rice Family Log Home, which was constructed betweeen 1828 and 1838 and served as a stopover for travelers on the Old San Antonio Road across pioneer Texas.
