Location:Central Idaho, south of Challis.
Facilities:Museum store, restroom facilities, walking path (é), hiking trail,interpretive center. Camping opportunities are available at ForestService and Bureau of Land Management campgrounds nearby. Whitewaterrafting is also available nearby.
Activities:Museum exhibits, gold panning station, interpretive programs, special events.
Special Features:Park is part of the larger Land of the Yankee Fork Historic Areamanaged jointly by the Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation, theSalmon-Challis National Forest, and the Bureau of Land Management. TheInterpretive Center in Challis has museum exhibits and providesinformation on local mining history and area attractions.
