Obruchevo

an urban-type settlement (since July 31, 1974, the city of Ul’ianovo), in Zaamin Raion, Dzhizak Oblast, Uzbek SSR. Railroad station on the Kagan-Khavast line; population, 13,300 (1973). It is one of the centers for the development of agriculture in the Golodnaia Steppe.
