Metallostroi

an urban-type settlement located on the left bank of the Neva River in Leningrad Oblast, RSFSR. The settlement has a railroad station at Izhory, 20 km from Leningrad. Population, 14,500 (1970). The Leningrad plants in Metallostroi manufacture high-frequency equipment and ferroconcrete articles; an experimental plant producing electrical machinery is also there.
