Löfgren's syndrome Löfgren’s syndrome (lĕf′grĕnz, löf′) [Sven Löfgren, Swedish physician, 1910–1978] A type of sarcoidosis characterized by extensive involvement of hilar lymph nodes, erythema nodosum, and joint pains, esp. around the ankles. The syndrome has a better prognosis than other forms of sarcoidosis. |
