Lévis-Lauzon

(lē`vĭs lōzôN`), city (1991 pop. 39,452), S Que., Canada, on the St. Lawrence River opposite Quebec. Settled in 1647, it was a base (1759) for Wolfe's siege of Quebec. Lévis-Lauzon is a port with shipbuilding, lumbering, and other industries.
