Location:3 miles west of Whitney on Farm Road 1244, on the shore of Lake Whitney.
Facilities:Campsites with water and electricity hookups, tent camping, showers, restrooms, group camp, day-use group facility, picnic areas, screened shelters, hiking trail, multi-use trail, airplane landing strip, boat ramp, fish cleaning station, park store, playground, recreation hall.
Activities:Camping, boating, fishing, swimming, water-skiing, scuba diving, hiking, mountain biking, hunting (with restrictions), birding.
Special Features:Park is located on 1,281-acre Lake Whitney, near ruins of Towash, an early Texas settlement that was inundated by the lake.
