Location:15 miles west of Tallahassee on SR 20, on Jack Vause Landing Road.
Facilities:Large pavilion, trails.
Activities:Fishing, boating, canoeing, picnicking, hiking, wildlife viewing.
Special Features:Lake Talquin was formed in 1927 when Jackson Bluff Dam was constructedon the Ochlockonee River to produce hydroelectric power. The lakeoffers outstanding fishing for largemouth bass, bream, shellcracker,and speckled perch.
