Indications
BAER is used to diagnose acoustic neuroma, instrinsic brainstem lesions (e.g., multiple sclerosis, infarction, gliomas), degenerative disease (e.g., Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, Meniere’s disease, olivopontocerebellar degeneration, stroke, Wilson’s disease), increased intracranial pressure and brain death.BAER Brainstem auditory evoked response, see there.
