O0067500 (ō-lĭv′ē-ā′), Sir Laurence Kerr Baron Olivier. 1907-1989. British film and stage actor and director. He is known for his interpretations of Shakespeare's characters, including Othello and Richard III, and won an Academy Award for his performance in Hamlet (1948). He directed the National Theatre of Great Britain from 1963 to 1973.
