Facilities:Park closed in 2002 due to relocation but is expected to reopen in2007. Facilities will include campsites, camping cabins, group lodging,cabins, picnic sites, trails, a visitor center, pavilion, swimmingpool, and marina.
Special Features:Park is being relocated due to the enlarging of Lake Fort Smith andLake Shepherd Springs into a single reservoir to provide additionalwater storage for the Fort Smith municipal water supply. The new parkwill be located on the western side of the enlarged reservoir. Forupdated information, contact the park.
