Facilities:92 Class A campsites (with electricity), shower building with flushtoilets, equestrian camping area, picnic areas, shelters, 9 fishingpiers, boat ramp, dock, boat rental, concession, restaurant, hikingtrails (3.5 miles), equestrian trail (14 miles), ski trails (14 miles).
Activities:Camping, boating (10 HP limit), canoeing, fishing, hiking,horseback riding, hunting, ice fishing, ice skating, cross-countryskiing, sledding, wildlife viewing, birdwatching.
Special Features:Park includes Lake Carlton, reputed to be one of the best fishing spotsin Illinois, and abundant wildlife, including deer, fox, coyote, andmuskrat, as well as more than 150 species of birds, including pheasantand quail.
