Location:In Springfield, Illinois. Visitor center is located at 426 South Seventh St.

Activities:Guided tours.
Special Features:Abraham and Mary Lincoln resided in this house for 17 years (1844-1861) before he became President. The house was originally constructed in 1839 as a one-story cottage, but was later expanded by the Lincoln's into a full two-story house. The surrounding four-block historic neighborhood is being restored to capture the atmosphere the Lincolns knew.
