Novodruzhesk

a city (since 1963) in Voroshilovgrad Oblast, Ukrainian SSR. Under the jurisdiction of the Lisichansk city soviet. Situated on the Severskii Donets River, 3 km from the Nasvetevich railroad station on the Kupiansk-Kamy-shevakha line. Population, 12,700 (1973). There is mining of coal.
