Mesha

a river in the Tatar ASSR; right tributary of the Kama River, which empties into the Kama Gulf of the Kuibyshev Reservoir. Length, 204 km; basin area, 4,180 sq km. The Mesha River is fed primarily by snow. The mean flow rate 18 km from the mouth is 17.4 cu m per sec. In its upper course the Mesha sometimes dries up. It freezes in November or early December and thaws in April.
