L0177400 (lĭn′ byou′) or Lin Piao (pyou′, byou′) 1907-1971. Chinese political leader. He fought to achieve a Communist takeover in China (1949) and became minister of defense (1959). Lin Biao compiled Quotations from Chairman Mao, known as the "Little Red Book."
