Neuimin Comets
the six comets discovered by G. N. Neuimin. They are (1) comet 1913 III (Neuimin 1), a short-period comet of the Saturn family (period of revolution 17.9 years); (2) comet 1914 III, with a very elongated orbit; (3) comet 1916 II (Neuimin 2), a short-period comet of the Jupiter family (5.4 years), which during its return in 1926 was also discovered by Neuimin (comet 1927 I); (4) comet 1929 III (Neuimin 3; 10.9 years); (5) comet 1936 IV (8.4 years); and (6) comet 1941 VII (6.3 years), a short-period comet of the Jupiter family.
