Aldabergenov, Nurmolda
Born Dec. 7 (20), 1906; died Nov. 17, 1967. Active figure in the kolkhoz movement in the Kazakh SSR. Twice Hero of Socialist Labor (1948, 1958). Member of the CPSU from 1940.
From 1930 to 1934, Aldabergenov was a kolkhoz member. He later served as chairman of the Dzhana-Talap (1935–42, 1945–49), Twenty-second Party Congress (1950–61), and Karl Marx (1965–67) kolkhozes, all in the Taldy-Kurgan Oblast of the Kazakh SSR. Aldabergenov was awarded two Orders of Lenin, the Order of the Red Banner of Labor, medals of the USSR, and medals of the Exhibition of the Achievements of the People’s Economy of the USSR. He was a delegate to the Twentieth Congress of the CPSU, a deputy to the Fifth Convocation of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR, and a deputy to the Third and Fourth convocations of the Supreme Soviet of the Kazakh SSR. Aldabergenov was elected to membership in the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Kazakhstan in 1954, 1956, and 1960.
