Mint Set Mint SetIn numismatics, a set of coins consisting of one coin in each denomination produced by a given mint. For example, a U.S. mint may make a mint set of a penny, a nickel, a dime, a quarter, a 50-cent piece, and a dollar coin. The coins in a mint set are usually in mint condition. These sets generally are bought by collectors and the coins do not circulate. |
