Morganella

 [mor-gah-nel´ah] a genus of gram-negative, facultatively anaerobic, rod-shaped bacteria. The single species is M. morga´nii, which is a primary cause of urinary tract infections and is an opportunistic pathogen, causing secondary infections of the respiratory tract, blood, and wounds.
