Beltzville State Park
Location:5 miles east of Lehighton, just off US 209, in the central eastern portion of the state.
Facilities:Picnic areas, picnic pavilions (é), restrooms, snack bar, hiking trails (15 miles), cross-sountry ski trails (9 miles), swimming beach, bathhouse, boat rentals, boat launch, moorage, interpretive center (é), amphitheater, playfield, playground (é).
Activities:Boating, fishing, swimming, water skiing, hiking, hunting, cross-country skiing, ice boating, ice fishing, ice skating, nature programs.
Special Features:Park features a covered bridge for pedestrian use. Originally built across Pohopoco Creek in 1841 and used by horse and buggy traffic, it was relocated to its present location at the suggestion of local residents.
