multisync monitor[¦məl·ti‚siŋk ′män·ə·tər] (computer science) A video display monitor that automatically adjusts to the synchronization frequency of the video source from which it is receiving signals. MultiSync monitorA family of multifrequency monitors from NEC Display Solutions that celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2015. The MultiSync's introduction was significant because its compatibility with all popular graphics cards of the time eliminated the need for monitor upgrades every time a new video standard emerged.
