Luisetti, (Angelo) “Hank”

(1916– ) basketball player; born in San Francisco. He revolutionized basketball by popularizing the one-handed jump shot as a two-time All-American forward at Stanford University (1935–38). He was the first college player to score 50 points in one game. Following college he played Amateur Athletic Union basketball. Although he never played professional basketball, he was elected to basketball's Hall of Fame in 1959.
