Nash Put’
(Our Path), a Bolshevik daily newspaper, published openly in Moscow from Aug. 25 (Sept. 7) through Sept. 12 (25), 1913.
Nash put’ was closed down by the tsarist government after having published only 16 issues, of which 12 had been confiscated. Its official editor was F. A. Sokolov, and its publisher was I. D. Barshchevskii. Ideological direction was provided by V. I. Lenin, and ten of his articles were published in the newspaper. I. I. Skvortsov-Stepanov, V. V. Obolenskii, N. N. Iakovlev, and V. N. Maksimovskii were among those who worked on the editorial staff. Among the contributors were Dem’ian Bednyi, M. S. Ol’minskii, M. Gorky, and the Bolshevik deputies to the Fourth State Duma. The newspaper’s circulation was 17,000–20,000.
