Kurkino

an urban-type settlement and the center of Kurkino Raion, Tula Oblast, RSFSR. Its railroad station (Kulikovo Field) is 163 km southeast of Tula. It has a sugar refinery, a distillery, and a dairy. In the raion is Kulikovo Field, the site of the famous battle of Kulikovo (1380).
