Kuratowski's theorem

[‚ku̇r·ə′təv‚skēz ‚thir·əm] (mathematics) The proposition that a graph is nonplanar if and only if it has a subgraph which is either a Kuratowski graph or a subdivision of a Kuratowski graph.
